Let’s talk about the importance of a Wedding Planner/Wedding Coordinator!
This is a big topic in the industry right now. I have heard from so many vendors recently saying “I wish my clients knew the importance of hiring a Planner” and “Wedding Planners makes my job 100% stress free”. We are bigger than the stereotype of “someone hired to just set up wedding decor". We handle so many logistics, day of emergencies, reading contracts, organizing your wedding day timeline, coordinating details with your vendors... but YES we also set up your personalized items they way you have envisioned when booking your wedding venue.
I will tell you what, us Wedding Planners always have to explain why we are worth because of the stereotype in the industry and unfortunately some couples learn the mistake last minute and wish they would have hired someone.
Here are the top reasons to hire a planner :
1. WE ARE HERE TO HELP
Sometimes couples are nervous to hire a #WeddingPlanner because they are afraid that they won’t have the joy of planning their wedding themselves. A professional Wedding Planner is there to guide you and help you - not take away the planning process from you. Whether you hire a Planner for Full Planning or Wedding Day Management, we are here to help make the process easier and stress free.
If you are the couple that has a full life/work schedule and needs someone to plan everything - that’s awesome too! We are still going to be by your side, we are helping you with most of the work, but we will never take away the planning process from you. That’s the fun of getting married is planning, but with NO STRESS. Are you a #BOSSBABE or #BOSSDUDE client (men plan weddings too people)? As a Wedding Planner not only do we handle all of the logistics for wedding day, communicate with vendors and set up all of your personalized decor - We also juggle the roles of designer, legal counsel, chaos coordinator, escape goat, gown bustler, budget manager, and therapist. We help the little ones get down the aisle, dry happy tears, bustle wedding gowns, mediate tensions between family members, pin boutonnières on the slightly intoxicated groomsmen, calms the nerves of an anxious bride, and wrangling all of the family; All while making sure wedding day goes off with a bang!
We do this for our clients, because you know why -THEY DESERVE IT, PERIOD!!! You have dreamed of this moment, you should have a Wedding Planner that will be by your side for every moment.

We are going to help you filter the budget to the most important elements of your wedding. For example: Is having a photo booth more important to you, because you want your guests to have a good time? Put your money towards that instead of wedding favors (friends the photo booth strip doubles as a wedding favor (; ).
We are gonna take the stress off of everything that just looks like a $ and turn it into, Is this important to you? I think that this $ can go towards XYZ instead of XYZ.
We are going to make sure that you stay in budget and make sure you have everything you want! But let’s be honest - you need to set REAL expectations for your wedding money. A wedding is a specialty event, it’s costs $$$ . If you are thinking to yourself, girl there is no way we can afford a wedding and we just to get married the two of us and have a big reception later then just elope. This is something becoming more common because of the pandemic. For the love of Pete, please don’t go to your local courthouse (unless it’s the San Francisco City Hall ) or go to Vegas to a drive thru chapel get married. It is 2020 - your best friend/ family member can get ordained and marry you in the backyard or at the beach or in the mountains. Make an experience out of it! Your budget doesn't have to be scary, at the end of the day you are marrying the person you want to spend forever with - THATS ALL THAT MATTERS
4. WE ARE SUPPORTING YOU
This is the Most important reason to hire a Wedding Planner!
Our clients are our top priority. We go above and beyond for you. This is the biggest day of your life (hopefully) so we are investing in making sure everything runs smoothly for you. Don’t get me wrong all of your vendors are working to make your day special too, but they don’t support YOU on your wedding day.
The Wedding Venue you’ve chose supports the venue. They are making sure that all the tables and chairs are set up, making sure all the lights are turned on, bathrooms are clean, if catering applies to them they are making sure the menu is correct for the specific wedding & making sure there staff is on time and sharp for your wedding day.
The DJ supports the entertainment. They are making sure that all of your guests are entertained, that the wedding formalities flow throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception. They are there to make sure everyone has a good time!
The Photographers are there to make sure your wedding day is captured through photos. They are capturing every moment - so in 10, 20, 30 years down the road you will remember what that day felt like through photos.
All of your vendors take pride in making sure you have a great day, but they won’t be able to be there to fluff your dress when you are walking down the aisle, they cannot stop what they are doing to help you get that stain out of your dress, they don’t have time to help you move arrangements from ceremony to reception, I bet you 100 % that they are not going to hold your underwear in your purse because your dress is see through. Wedding vendors cannot stop what they are doing to handle a personal detail. It will take away from the service they are trying to provide.
